This Privacy Policy explains how AVS Insurance Brokers Private Limited ("BimaBridge", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use bimabridge.in or contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email or in person. We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it.
Information we collect
- Details you give us: name, mobile number, email, city, vehicle registration number, policy numbers, details of family members to be insured, business information, and the contents of your messages.
- Information needed for insurance: when you choose to proceed with a policy or claim, insurers may require KYC documents, age, health information, vehicle or property details and bank details. We collect these only as needed for that purpose.
- Technical data: basic information such as the page from which a form was submitted and the time of submission.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and call or message you about it
- To obtain quotations from insurers and arrange your policy
- To service your policy: renewals, endorsements and claims
- To handle complaints and meet legal and regulatory obligations
Consent
By submitting a form and ticking the consent box, you agree to be contacted by us and to your details being shared with insurers for the purposes above. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to avs.brokers@gmail.com; this will not affect processing already carried out.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with insurance companies, their third-party administrators (TPAs) and surveyors as needed to quote, issue and service your policy or claim; with service providers who help us operate (for example, form and email hosting), under confidentiality obligations; and with regulators or authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
Storage and security
Enquiries submitted on this website are stored in a secured Google Workspace account accessible only to authorised staff. We take reasonable security measures to protect your data, and retain it only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, or raise a grievance about how it is handled, by writing to avs.brokers@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by law.
